When exploring caves and underground biomes, we can discover that even if a little dull, these places are very interesting and mysterious. Addon Cave Update makes them even more fascinating!
Features of addon Cave Update
Addon Cave Update brings not only some update to the existing caves but also adds a few biomes, new mobs and a lot of freaky sounds!
The sounds are inspired by those in the Java edition of our favorite game. You will hear them from time to time while exploring the caves and this will make your experience more realistic and exciting.
You will also have access to three new biomes: the Underground Desert, Jungle, and Tundra.
The first one is a biome generated under custom desert and mesa biomes. Here you will find desert stones and ores.
The second one is a biome generated, like its names suggest it, under traditional jungle biomes. The most interesting thing to find in this place are the mossy stone patches, but besides them, you will see a large variety of plants and some aggressive mobs.
The third biome is generated under custom ice spike biomes. Here you will find a lot of icy treasures like ice stones, packed ice coming in giant patches and very difficult to find blue ice.
By exploring the available cages, you will face the following hostile mobs:
The Brood Spider. This monster is quite rare, but is very dangerous, especially for the MCPE newcomers. When destroyed, it might drop spider eyes, heart, and string.
Spider Eggs. Of course, where there are spiders, there are spider eggs too. You will find them in spider nests. The eggs are inoffensive and drop loot if destroyed.
Spider lings are actually baby spiders. They are not very strong but can bring quite a damage when gathering up together.
The Bristle Spider is a spider accompanying the Spider Matriarch during fights. Its power is in shooting a slew of bristles at the players.
In a future update, the creator of our today’s addon intends to add a Spider Matriarch (mentioned above) which is a boss very difficult to defeat.
Besides it, there will be Villager Miners, Ore Crawlers and other passive mobs.
